On going to Florida to be with my daughter, I had this urgency to find a yoga studio, having never done yoga in my life. There was no sense in my thinking. I had to go to this studio. It was almost like an urgency that I did not understand. On arrival, my heart was beating so fast. I had no idea what to do, what to say, or even why I was there. I was just there.
Everything was changing in my life, all at the same time. It was midlife and my corporate finance job had come to an end. My relationship with my husband was changing. It was empty nest, with my children in different countries at their next stage in life. Everything had come to an end at the same time, and I was lost. I suffered heartburn, sinusitis, chronic headaches, neck pain, and generalized anxiety.
For once I had listened to what was coming up on finding this yoga studio. I call this living through the heart. I can now say that I have met so many friends, and my beautiful mentor Frannie Hoffman, whom at the time I’d only met for half an hour.
On return home, this woman was in my thoughts night and day. What was the call, and why did I get in touch with her, when so many people could have helped me back home?
There was this deep intuitive inner knowing. At the yoga teacher training, she played a special role through her mediumship. I turned my head away from her when she was present at my side. I felt uncomfortable. She softly and with care turned my head around to look into her eyes. She looked at me gently and whispered, “It’s all about you now.”
This is where I return to. I had no idea what she was talking about. It really was a divine intervention and a miracle, and she believed in me. She has shown me the way through her spiritual mentorship and inner child therapy for around six years and continues to this day. Always leading the way and guiding me back to the truth of who we really are.
And since then, I have met so many mentors along the way who have meant so much to me. They have helped shape me into who I am today.
During one of the most challenging periods of my life, her unwavering support, wisdom, and unconditional love helped light my path forward. Her presence has been a source of strength. With profound gratitude and love, I honour Frannie for her mentoring, guidance, healing, and inspiration. I carry the gifts of her guidance with me every day, and I have a deep appreciation and respect for the influence she has had, and continues to have, on my life.
My heartfelt thanks go to Richard Gordon, founder of Quantum Touch, and to Deborah Gair for sharing this wisdom with me. I’m so grateful for Deborah’s continued professionalism, guidance, and encouragement throughout my Quantum-Touch journey. As I continue to deepen my practice and progress through the various levels of training, I am inspired by her knowledge, integrity, and dedication.
My recent training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy with Alan Gordon’s team has given me a deeper appreciation of the neuroscience of pain and healing. What excites me most is how naturally this evidence-based approach integrates with my spiritual training and experience.
For me, science and spirit are not opposing paths—they are different languages describing aspects of the same human experience. This training has strengthened my ability to support clients who are looking for a scientific understanding of their symptoms, as well as those who connect more deeply with spiritual perspectives. By bridging both worlds, I can offer a compassionate and inclusive approach that meets each person where they are.
Mentorship has taught me that it’s okay to receive help. I believe that when we live by becoming the best versions of ourselves, all suffering melts away. We step into the present moment and slowly release our fears. This in turn has helped me understand energy. The best version of you lights up not only you, but your family, your friends, and the planet. It’s a celebration. Asking for support is by no means a failure, or a sign that you are not good enough. I’ve learned that through the mystical energy of this universe, the right people show up at the right moment, exactly when you are ready. Through all my struggles, I’ve learned so much about myself and our human journey.
If you are struggling with chronic pain, midlife, empty nest, grief, or anxiety, I offer mentorship and somatic healing through Pain Reprocessing Therapy, energy healing, and a blend of everything else I have learned in between. Pain Reprocessing Therapy is the science of knowing. Energy healing, mentorship, and a blend of all my other teachings are spirit, guiding us into feeling everything we need to feel, helping us feel safe in the body, every moment of every day, and becoming the best version of you.
I’d love to talk if any of this resonates.
“I believe every human being needs a mentor. That should be a celebration, not a sign that we are not good enough.”
